I thought it would have been better if Simmons was like, "hell no, man."

Tossing the phone could just mean it's a distraction, which it is, for MANY reasons.

It'd be pretty weird for someone to think another player needs to get rid of their phone to keep them from filming themselves making a teammate admit to cheating and ruining their relationship. Russell is probably the only player immature enough in the league to do that.
