I "support" HK, but honestly, what does that mean

It really is just the republican way for me to virtue signal. I am not doing shite about it besides basically doing the chick thing and making my profile picture the HK flag

I'm going to add a few more Gad Saad posts here

quote:

My wife and I just voted in the Canadian federal elections. May my fellow Canadians choose wisely. On Canadian Thanksgiving, I’m thankful that Canada granted us a home away from the tribal hate of the Middle East.

quote:

Moral and political hypocrisy nicely captured. @KingJames @JHarden13 @Kaepernick7 @NFL @NBA

?
quote:

The @KingJames moral compass: ?

?I will not sit down with @realDonaldTrump. He is a bad man.?

?Also: I have no problems with the Chinese govt subjugating nearly 1.5 billion of its people and placing its Muslim citizens in camps. ?

?China is cool. Orange Man Bad is uncool.?

?@NBA ?

?
quote:

There are innumerable people in the Middle East who risk death to speak out against injustice. They are heroes. ?

?Castrato @KingJames is the antithesis of such courageous individuals. A cowardly pampered idiot self-absorbed by his wealth and fame. An execrable hypocrite.?

Disagree. There is absolutely zero middle ground in this case. You either support HK or you support China.

I disagree. China acts as though you're either with them or against him, so taking the middle ground is a slap in the face to China, at a minimum.

I know what you're saying, and on most issues I'd agree, but China definitely doesn't view this as support for them.

again, it's easy for us to make the right choice. there isn't anything we can do about it. hell, i'd imagine there's a decent shot China is putting posters in this thread on a list and if they could link our screen names to our real names we'd be barred from entering China

the NBA (and especially Lebron) are finding out those costs, however. the ONLY REASON this is a big deal is b/c of how they've intentionally commoditized wokeness over the past couple years. yeah you get social brownie points for saying teams shouldn't have "owners", but that stance costs nothing. we get to see just how full of shite they are when there are slight costs involved. they fold and complain to the NBA and pretend like they'd be punished for "costing the NBA money"

You say that, and a bunch of shitposters/artists successfully got Mei from Overwatch (Blizzard game, same company that is in arguably deeper shite than the NBA on this same topic) on the ground in HK as a symbol of the protest.
People are creative

“Protection of players”?
So Lebron mentions his concerns for player safety but the first time the 2 teams got in a room with Silver, the very first question Lebron asked was about player safety, right?

Nahhhhhhh, he wanted to know why Morey didn't get in more trouble because he claims a player would have been if he did the same.

But yea, totally concerned about safety, guys!!

I tend to agree, but replace China with Nazi Germany and ask yourself if it's still asinine.

I’d possibly be barred from entering China? But they make it seem so appealing to outsiders...

Babylon Bee Savagery - LeBron James Says Rosa Parks's Bus Protest 'Could Have Waited A Week'

quote:

James, an expert in geopolitical relations as well as the game of basketball, went on to explain that people in power stand to lose a lot of money when protesters challenge the status quo. “Civil rights demonstrations should really be limited to times that are convenient to everyone,” James told sources. “When Rosa Parks started the bus boycott by refusing to give up her seat, I guess there were some sporting events scheduled that week in downtown Montgomery that lost a lot of revenue. It wasn’t fair to them. I can’t really blame Ms. Parks though. She was just misinformed.”

Babylon Bee is like The Onion.

This is a fake LeBron tweet done in sarcasm based on his Morey comments.

As teke pointed out already, nah. Just laughing at the sheer irony it's pointing out.

That’s how much damage LeBron has done to his image recently.

He’s not quite in the Tyson Zone yet but he is heading there.
