Dude, it's sorantable. Someone accused a white Southern male of being a racist. You could rub his face in fact after fact like a puppy that shite on the rug and it wouldn't matter. He has virtue to signal.

Being an Ole Miss fan and a self-flagellating white guilt Southerner, I'd think you're Wright Thompson.

but it would be nowhere near 70% if the league like it is in football and basketball. They wouldn’t even come close to half of the league. Maybe 30% max if I was guessing.
Thats just trying to play make believe

Black Americans are currently able to be the majority currently in TWO American sports while being 13% of the population.

If their focus was purely on baseball they absolutely would be the majority. Quick twitch athleticism is massive for baseball. The races are just different, regardless of how much people try to pretend otherwise

And democrats will whine and moan they don’t have enough black Americans in baseball. It’s simply because they don’t play it at even close to the same rate as other sports for a multitude of reasons

I’ll only consider recognizing this when we incorporate all of Ichiros Japan league stats into MLB baseball

Don’t get mad at the old Negro League, this is just another chip shot at Americana. Given to you by our Democrats wishing to tear it all down.

The Negro League deserves more respect than that. The Bananas are a bunch of TikTok dancing buffoons

If this is done, then go ahead and incorporate all AAA stats too. Hell, the AA stats deserve to be included. Damn, add A ball too

How is this real life? I don’t get it. It was a different league. It’s whatever. We live under clown times.

what were the AL and NL for the first 120 years of professional baseball

They were still part of Major League Baseball, no?

The 1903 World Series was the first modern World Series to be played in Major League Baseball. It matched the American League (AL) champion Boston Americans against the National League (NL) champion Pittsburgh Pirates[note 1] in a best-of-nine series, with Boston prevailing five games to three, winning the last four. The first three games were played in Boston, the next four in Allegheny (home of the Pirates), and the eighth (last) game in Boston.

not be completely done uploading but it appears this will only affect average/OPS type records - which raises even more questions, like is it fair that Josh Gibson is now the all time batting average leader despite only playing in 602 games in 14 years.

Very low number of games played per season.

Gibson 166 career homers.
Paige 124 career wins.

I'd be more worried about calculating an average where the records are incomplete.

I'm all for verifiable records being recognized. Home runs, wins, etc.

People should also watch the Buck O'Neil interview.

Cobb played winter ball in Cuba, where baseball was integrated.

Wait till the Wakanda Baseball League stats are folded in.

+100

Baseball "history" in America had been up there with "Apple Pie", Moms", and Chevy. "Revising" it helps destroy it.

The Sociopaths-in-Charge strategy is obviously to vandalize and ridicule everything associated with America's collective memory. Politicizing Baseball -- even changing its rules) means our "history" is "renovated" for the current and future gens.

Anyone else have issue they are including stats against "independent" teams? Like I like that they only included 7 of the 11 leagues because the stats could not be confirmed, but including these independent ball stats really makes me wonder.
