Same thing that happened in Cameron. You have to micromanage the game. The players may be high profile recruits but this isn’t aau. You have to draw up shite and get better looks. Dukes pint guard roach might as well have been invisible. Instead he let them play and AJ griffin shot them out of the game. I mean if mark Williams made his free throws, it could be different, but the general tenor the game was undercoached from the duke bench. Defense was more or less good but the offense wasn’t overseen enough.

As I said earlier, don’t know how much UNC will have left in the tank, a’ la Wisconsin in ‘15 against Duke. On the other hand, UNC wins tile games that are played in New Orleans, while Kansas loses them.

North Carolina has won four titles since that one against Georgetown.

North Carolina has won 2 titles in the Superdome: ‘82 against Georgetown on Jordan’s game-winner and Fred Brown’s pass to James Worthy on the wrong team to seal it, and ‘93 against Michigan with the Chris Webber timeout.

I thought Duke played hard and smart most of the game. They just about scored at will. The problem was that UNC had guys that weren’t scared and that kept making big time shots. To repeatedly answer Duke’s body blows and then for Manek and Love to make those 2 contested threes… that’s just great stuff.
