It’s just ridiculous that they allow him to slide under someone that is already airborne. Outrageously unfair to the offensive player.
You’re not supposed to allow that. Right? Like. They just called it wrong unless I’ve missed some change in the rules. He was clearly still sliding. It should have been a block.

Furthest thing from a melt. I just think it’s wild that they allow it to happen.

Those calls are given to all kinds of players, you just pay attention to when Williams gets them

Nah not a melt I don't have a problem with Arkansas as a team just don't like Williams because he the poster boy of how bad the NCAA block charge calls are.

We were so bad this year, I promise you I don’t have anything against Jaylen
I just think refs do a horrendous job of calling the block/charge and it’s been this way for a few years now. They probably call it 50/50 when in reality probably 80% of charges are blocks because the players feet are generally still sliding.
Different when the player leans into the sliding guy obviously. But when someone undercuts the guy who is up in the air, it being called a charge is hilariously bad. It’s not the rule, so why do refs call it that way?
Again, not just a Williams thing. An NCAA issue.

Horrible foul call on the skinny giant.

I feel like we are watching an Olympic sport where it’s two teams from opposite ends of the world.

Vegas mafia must be in the pocket of these refs.

Lol they let Williams lower his head and drive into Chet’s chest while he has his arms straight in the air and Williams still gets the foul call

Overreaction from someone who’s really watched no CBB outside of the tournament: this Chet dude will be a hilarious bust.
