You do know that Houston leads the NATION in offensive rebounding %, right? While one of Baylor's (few) weaknesses is defensive rebounding (they rank 274 in defensive rebounding %)
Yep. Houston got 19 offensive rebounds and attempted 15 more shots than 12th-seeded Oregon State, yet still found themselves tied with 4 minutes left in the game. I think Baylor has the bodies and depth to defensive rebound in the biggest game of their lives, and Houston won't get that type of repeat performance.
Total disclaimer: I don't think Houston is that good, and I also dislike them. They got the easiest road in history to the Final Four and that is the main reason why they are here.

Loyola proved they were absolutely the superior team.
It was one game.

I love how they always put a team in the East time zone in the late slot, and 2 west coast teams in the early slot

Yeah I don't think Baylor and Arkansas started until around 9pm central.

Last night there were 3 central time zone teams all relatively close to each other and 1 west coast team.

Baylor had 12 more shots overall and shot 56% in the first half...yet that was a game until Arkansas got cold in the final 8 minutes. Hell, you could argue that Notae fouling out relatively early in the 2nd half was the biggest play of the game for Baylor. He was scorching Baylor until that time. He still ended up tied for Arkansas' leading scorer despite only playing 14 minutes.

Maybe. But over the course of 28 games this season they haven't been good in that category...so it would be an anomaly.

They probably won't get 19, but Oregon St. wasn't a good defensive rebounding team (though still better than Baylor) and Houston killed them on the glass. The zone defense from OSU was Houston's kryptonite. As soon as OSU went away from it late Houston started owning the offensive glass once more.

It's not their fault who they had to play to get to the Final Four, but they have been a kenpom top 10 team all season. So it's not just a matter of them getting hot at the right time. They just didn't get a lot of pub because they play in the AAC and not the Big 12
All that said, I still think Baylor wins. But I wouldn't be shocked to see Houston win. They have the athletes to match up with Baylor

Gonzaga/USC is going to be a much better game that most people think, IMO. There's a good argument to be made that USC has been the most impressive team in the tournament so far.

I really hope you’re right bro (or baw?)
But I’ve been hoping for that all season, and they’ve just been Blowing everyone out

I'm picking USC with the upset tonight

Gonzaga will blow out USC by 25 tonight

There’s two ways this goes tonight.
1. It’s close, but Gonaga pulls away or,
2. This is a “statement” game, and the Zags just unleash holy Hell
I love my Trojans, and will eat crow gladly, but I don’t see them winning this one.

Almost two minutes in, USC has
3 turnovers, and one bricked 3

Zags are both the most talented and well coached team in America.
What a start.
What a start.
