The CF had a massive shift on perfectly for that ball too. The way he was running seemed like he’d get to it easy

I didn't think the CF mishap for USC was egregious. The result didn't end well, but he was hauling arse trying to make a play.
I think he was playing a little more shallow than he normally would so that he could potentially throw home on a single in front of him.
Also, I think the ball had some slice which was taking it away from him, and it was hit well. His route got a little weird at the end, so maybe he was worried about the wall. And maybe the sun caused him to lose the ball for a second?
COULD he have made the catch? Probably. But I wouldn't say he "should" have made the catch.

They were infinitely more composed and confident in the regional, which consisted of having to beat Arkansas twice.
Oklahoma is talented, but I don’t think they’re that much better than Arkansas was.
I honestly think this team was sniffing its own farts all week while Oklahoma is loose and locked in. Every aspect of the team is just doing things they weren’t most of the season.

Oklahoma and Kansas are pretty evenly matched. They’re both JUCO all star teams. But Oklahoma has been through more wars. They’re more ready for the tight hole scenarios.
I like both coaches and both teams. I just think Oklahoma is more ready for the moment.
