Yea 3.2 IP but just 34 pitches. It looks like he's pitched multiple times per weekend for most of the season. In the regional he threw 21 pitches and then came back and threw 124 two days later. He's gotta be wearing down at this point.
Feels like no one's talking about Troy enough, maybe bc they played Little Rock. But they look really good. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win that side of the bracket in Omaha

Used to dislike him a lot. He's grown on me. Annoying voice but don't mind what he says.

Georgia was just the worst possible draw for State. Damn near any other team in the Supers outside of UGA or Texas and they'd probably advance to Omaha.

The key to the game is to get Boaz out of there early. SC's best hitters are 30% less effective against left-handers. After that UNC will platoon through their bullpen to finish the game, but the more you wear them out...
...so I'm saying there's a chance. Even with a loss today, I can't be too unhappy. SC baseball is so much better under Stankiewicz, the new Dedeaux Field complex looks awesome, and the Trojans broke some records. Omaha would be amazing, but yeah. Fight On!

Johnson is starting for USC. My guess is they will try to get 3 innings or so out of him.
