But anyway, Mitch had the chance to make the Lakers a legit contender by adding Beasley and he fricked it up (supposedly turned down Beasley for a 1st when he was still looking at a DH trade). They had the trade exception and a 1st to get some scroing for the bench and what does Mitch do? Trades for Jordan fricking Hill.
This year has been about saving money, not making the team a championship contender. frick Mitch Kupchak (or Jim Buss)
