a 2nd rd pick....great move for Indy, they can make a run in the playoffs. Barbosa can score.
Barbosa is a brilliant pick up for that Pacers team. They're fairly young, and they don't tinker with their core, but add one of the more undervalued guys around the league.
I guess Bird is the guy from the 80s and 90s who became the best exec.

Biggest winner so far today: Dallas Mavs
Biggest loser---NJ Nets.

Does a Brook Lopez-Josh Smith switch make too much sense?
hmmmm, not a bad thought. I want Marshon Brooks too if I'm the Hawks though. Josh is the team's best player now.
then the Nets have Josh to lure Dwight there in 13. everybody wins!

It adds a scoring punch off their bench, but I'm not sure they can make a playoff run. They'll play Philly in the 1st round, who is leaps and bounds more athletic than they are, and if they win that series they'd have to go to Chicago.
As of right now, they're the 5th best team in the east.

What Dwight is doing today has a bigger effect on the summer of 2013 than it does for the rest of this year and next.
Turkoglu and a few other's contracts come off the books and they'll have money to not only sign Dwight long-term, but go after some major players to finally give him a scoring wing to play with.
Dwight even admitted he doesn't want to leave Orlando. It was his agent and Adidas people pulling him to the big city scene.

There's actually been some speculation that his Addidas contract has a clause about playoff appearances that is a fairly significant escalator; if he were to go to the Nets now, he'd miss out on that escalator because they're lottery bound.

Wojo is speculating Gerald Wallace to the Nets.

Looks like the Blazers may be in full fire sale mode, if they move him and Crawford today, then clear all those contracts off the books at the end of this year.

I also heard Jamal Crawford really wants to go to Orlando by the end of the day.
Damn you Otis for wasting all our trade assets.

Which means the Beasley-Crawford-Blake deal is going to happen

no problem.
Sessions is huge for the Lakers..people dont realize how good he is.
If they can swing Beasley too, big day for LA.
