Well that's a given. It's part of ALL LIVES MATTER. Which has been my personal credo my whole life. It's the entire point of Natural Law, The Bill of Rights, Equal Protection, Western Civilization, numerous religions etc. And just because in the Spring and Summer of 2020 it became culturally fashionable to ELEVATE ONE RACE OVER THE OTHERS doesn't mean I have to play along. At no point will I participate in any Racial Identity movement, Marxist or otherwise , whether it be for blacks, whites, Asians, Latinos, American Indians, etc. No slogans, no collective guilt, no preferences etc. Just brotherhood for ALL as we do it in my home.
QFT!

He is one of my favorites. I have kinda taken him under my wing over the last few years and I have noticed him become a better poster bc of some things I have pointed out or showed him.

Good for them
I am obviously not their target audience, but I havent been for a while
Hope that alienating a large chunk of middle America and Asia (after Hong Kong incident) works out for them

Are the halftime shows going to be ten guys dressed in klan hoods choking the ten players, then overcome them and stand with their foot on each hooded guy?

People really still watch the NBA?
Posted on 6/30/20 at 1:07 pm to Riolobo
It’s only the second most popular sport in America. So I guess a few people watch it

I thought the MLB was still second
And if we included CFB that is

The irony being white people thinkIng anyone hates black people more than white people.
Well looking at worldwide stats it looks like black people hate black people more than anyone else hates black people

I’m guessing 3rd on that list still garners a couple viewers

From 2018:
quote:
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- American football, under attack from critics in recent years, has lost some of its popularity but is still the champion of U.S. spectator sports -- picked by 37% of U.S. adults as their favorite sport to watch. The next-most-popular sports are basketball, favored by 11%, and baseball, favored by 9%.

Had no idea people still watched outside of the major markets.

New Orleans normally has very good local TV ratings for the NBA

Thought experiment: do you think the players would still play if the courts said Blue Lives Matter?
Alternate thought experiment: Do you think the folks saying they won't watch anymore because they don't want "politics" injected into sports would be saying that if the courts said Blue Lives Matter?

If anyone makes a decision to watch or not watch based specifically on this, they’re a snowflake.
Pull your head out of your arse. Some people are actually aware of BLM's goal of destroying our great nation and refuse to go along with a company that goes furthers their movement. Thats not being a snowfake. Its called patriotism.

Since Mizzou, my childhood dream school, started their shite in 2015(while I was a student) I might've watched 1 football game and no basketball games. Hence why my activity here is not been even close to what it was before.
I can do the same for royals, nba, and even the chiefs if they want to support this movement. I watch sports to watch sports. If I wanted to watch a bunch of protestors play victim to anything and everything I'd watch cnn. Why reward them with my viewership for ruining the sports and teams that I grew up with?
This movement is divisive and built on quilting people into supporting it. Simple as that. Always has been.

The ratings for the NBA are in the toilet. ESJWPN paid out 4-5 times what they should have for their NBA contract and now these soyed up millennials with a jumpshot and floppers think they are more important than they really are. This pandemic has made me and millions of others realize how unnecessary they really are.
