They start a week before the PGA championship. No way in hell would a voluntarily choose to watch the NBA over the PGA. It's funny too the Finals schedule is set to where there's a game every 2 days, exactly how it always should be which is appealing. They are about to find out how little people care about the NBA when they are competing with CFB, NFL and the PGA majors. The BLM/crying players are just throwing fuel on the ratings fire.

Well the NFL and then CFB trounce every sport and it’s not even close (and for a while now)
Regular season NFL games get better ratings than World Series Games during the fall
I don’t think the demographic that watches the PGA even really mixes with the NBA.
So it’s probably something they don’t really care about

The Masters ends by 4pm (Especially during the fall)
They won’t have bigger NBA playoff games until prime time anyway

golf is on during the day. Nba playoffs will be on at night. They don’t compete at all on the time slots. sat-mon nites will be the only times nba viewership would be hurt by football. And nba can minimize games on those nights if they wanna.
