Not directed at me but I read it as eliminating a system where single mothers struggle to make ends meet in their salary. All 3 people who started BLM are feminist.

One common complaint of feminist is that women earn less money than men. Under that logic if a man has a job he can possibly provide for his entire family where a women performing the same job will not.

Therefore it isn’t asking to eliminated nuclear families but the system where you have to be in a nuclear family to makes ends meet (without having to work two job making the person unable to raise their child)

Single moms are very common in the black community. Seeing the founders are feminist they obviously tied their ideology into a problem the black community has faced.

The vast majority of people who are saying black lives matter are not financially supporting the organization in any way. They are simply showing their support for the end of racism, police brutality, etc. the movement and the organizaiton can be separated in this case.

I understand that. But at some point, they have to come to the realization of what the organization is actually all about. Do you think every Nazi party member was on board with putting jews in the ghetto, and then exterminating them? And no i'm not saying it will come anywhere near that, but you start supporting something that you don't really believe everything they want to accomplish, and at some point they will become too powerful to stop, and you'll be too scared to stand up against them since you were standing behind them for so long.

1. Any single parent, regardless of gender, is going to be more likely to struggle to make ends meet than if there were two parents in the household, especially if both parents are working.

2. That's not what the mission statement says:
quote:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

If it is about gender-related wage disparity, then they should say that.

That is absolutely a massive problem in underprivileged communities, black and otherwise, and that problem is not going to be solved by further dissolution of the family unit.

It is not that much of a reach, historically. Human history is full of people following initial harmless positive messaging to eventual evil ends.

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

They should add Stalin to one end and Lenin to the other.

Play up the Marxist angle.
