This is why I thought all those picks in the trade were going to be very hard to evaluate.

Three stars play together for 2-3 seasons and most turn out to be crap because they don’t backslide as quick.

If Kyrie forces his way out now, it certainly impacts the Nets’ potential because a big three would be better in today’s NBA than a big two and a bunch of misfit parts picked up while doing a fire sale on Kyrie.

Consider KD’s mindset.

He was pissed at hearing “You only won because you joined up with the champs.”

So now he is playing with a total head case and an egotistical fat fricker. If he wins a title now, what will the haters say?

They’ll still say something but he is mentally weak enough to give them space in his head rent free.

Kyrie Irving Reportedly Willing To Sit Out Rest Of Season

quote:

Kyrie Irving might have played his final game of the 2020-21 NBA season — because of course.

Irving is prepared to sit out the remainder of the campaign amid his growing frustration with the Nets, KRON-TV’s Jason Dumas reported Wednesday. The star point guard, who has missed Brooklyn’s last five games while the NBA investigates videos of his maskless partying, reportedly is irate with the organization for multiple reasons, including the hiring of head coach Steve Nash.

There also are reports indicating Brooklyn’s acquisition of James Harden was not approved by Irving, who reportedly was not answering the Nets’ calls as recently as Wednesday afternoon.

What a mess!

“The Brooklyn Nets were always interested in acquiring James Harden but the deal became imperative in light of the situation with Kyrie Irving,” Dumas tweeted. “Kyrie is willing to sit out the year if need be those close to him are saying.”

Again: What a mess.

Irving rightfully is receiving immense criticism from around the NBA. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith even went so far as to call for the 28-year-old to retire — immediately.

Kyrie is about to Kyrie himself out the league.

He’s not good enough to demand the Lebron treatment, and he’s now about to malcontent himself out of his 3rd team.

The thing is, that I don't think anyone would trade for him, and I don't see the Nets cutting him. The dude is an idiot.

I don’t follow the NBA, but is Kyrie the NBA version of Antonio Brown?

Also, Kyrie isn't getting into police altercations. He's a weird dude, but I don't expect to hear a story about him assaulting someone.

LeBron left The Heat for Kyrie.

This. Durant gets hate mostly from LeBron fans. If he wins a title with Irving (& I don’t think they will) he’ll still get shade thrown.
It is what is.
