I mean if you are a team just trying to land in the playoffs, this is probably better for you. OKC now becomes questionable and Westbrook is probably gone in a year.
The other side though is you probably can kiss your chances at a finals appearance, barring injury, if you aren't GS or SA. For at least the next 3-5 years.

Personally, I'm hoping for the Heat. I hate the Warriors and I don't see how anyone could beat them if you add KD to what they already have

That would be ideal but as much as I respect Pat Riley, Miami is a hard sell compared to GS or even SAS/OKC.
Wade is at the end of his career. Bosh is a huge ??? Whiteside is probably gonna go celebrity hunting with Swaggy P in LA.... I guess the beaches are nice? Not sure that gets you Durant.

Either way, I think Whiteside is done in Miami....they did bench him in the middle of the season for chasing stats.
