pretty sure LBJ is going to keep signing 2-year deals with the 2nd being a PO
there is almost no reason for him not to do this

Yeah that's what I figured and makes the most sense, I was just curious.

I just bet someone $50 that the Warriors will not win the chip next year, regardless of playoff/finals opponents or potential injury...

that's going to be a very interesting storyline next year
hell if they only win 72 games, people will be hating

The cap is expected to rise again next year, then fall. He makes the most money by signing a max contract when the cap is at its highest.

You know butthurt Stephen A. will be leading that charge

i just don't think he gives up the potential flexibility
those 2 year deals protect him if he has a serious injury and he's covered in year 2 (which probably isn't even necessary b/c he's lebron). and i don't think he leaves, but shite may go south in CLE and he has options if that happens

There's no way that team wins more than 73. There will be no depth on the bench. The starting 5 will need to have their minutes insanely managed this year. We will see what Kerr is made of. They are no doubt a playoff team, but they may not win a championship.

If they win less games and also don't win a championship, why shouldnt people?

Like it's been mentioned, it doesn't matter how talented your team is, when you add someone of that caliber, it's going to take some time to gel, and I don't think they're going to be worry about topping their own record, partly due to learning and partly because of the bench.
I think Kerr is going to take a page out of Pop's book and start resting his starters more throughout the season. If they don't win the title, then yeah, harp on them, but I don't think they are even considering 73 again

No depth? Their first 3 off the bench will be better than anyone's in the league.

Yeah, I don't think Kerr wanted the record but his players did and he went with that.

Sources on @TheVertical: Free agent Dwyane Wade and Denver officials just completed a 2.5 hour meeting in New York.

What percentage would you guys give Wade leaving Miami?

I'd say about 30%

Haven't watched first take in at least 5 years. Maybe never tbh.
Wait....WHAT?!
Which is it?
Posted on 7/6/16 at 11:43 am to TbirdSpur2010
I def did't watch it in the last 5 years, and it's possible that I never watched. If that was Skip Bayless's show yes I probably saw it back when it first came out 7-8 years ago.. Or was that cold pizza? Either way I'm not watching ESPN in the mid mornings during the week ever.

Hmm, that low? That situation between those two parties doesn't sound good at all

Ah ok that makes more sense
Only times I've ever watched were when SA was in the Finals. Otherwise it's random clips on social media from time to time.
