That's ridiculous. Lebron isn't their asset.

They’ll figure that out sooner rather than later.

Big if but IF Lebron jumps first without another star, San Antonio’s leverage will be shot.

Asking for a Celtics/Nets-type return when Boston isn’t putting Tatum or Brown on the table and Philly won’t include Fultz. What a ridiculous position to take.

Even if lebron jumps alone they lose all leverage. We can just wait for next summer with Kawhi if we only get lebron

They are being absurd

It's going to blow up in their face if Lebron and PG to the Lakers in the next day or two. The longer they play this game the worse the offer is going to get.

Agreed their leverage is at its peak now since no one has signed anywhere.

Is there a chance that people don't like playing with Lebron?
I think it's more of the circus that follows Lebron that's the issue for some role players that they can't seem to handle that spotlight.

Didn't Rodney Hood speak to that? I think he did.

It's certainly how San Antonio should be operating, especially if there's any chance Lebron doesn't go to LA.

I'd play that card until Lebron agreed to LA, then I'd make the lesser deal.

If Rodney feels this way then as a Lakers fan I don't want Lebron anymore. Just not worth it.

I don't think time is really working against SAS.

IF Lebron goes to LA, the Lakers still can and will have the best offer out for Kawhi, so SAS just takes that offer at that point.

I don't think there's much of any risk for SAS to try and get a huge haul on this selling point.

@TheSteinLine
The Warriors know this has a marginal chance of success, but league sources say they intend to at least explore their free-agent chances with DeAndre Jordan, who is not only close pals with Kevin Durant but also one of GM Bob Myers' former clients

I don't see any chance DAJ turns down tens of millions of dollars.

Of course I want George and Leonard too but I honestly believe if the worst case scenario is the Lakers only get Lebron and then resign Julius Randle I will ride with that and hope for a title.

An entire starting 5 of all pro players would be the epitome of giving zero fricks
