Wouldn't win a title but it would set us up nicely for Kawhi next summer

I think it's more of the circus that follows Lebron that's the issue for some role players that they can't seem to handle that spotlight.

Didn't Rodney Hood speak to that? I think he did.

Yeah. Some role players did great and loved playing with Lebron. Others didn't. I don't read much into it other than that.

For every Isaiah Thomas and Rodney Hood there's a Kyle Korver and Matthew Dellevadova. Anyone think Delly gets that contract if he's not playing next to Lebron?

r/nba has tracked Lebron’s plane and it’s scheduled to depart from the Caribbean in the morning and head for LA

Dats a good thing. Probably has already been posted but according to LA talk radio he is allowed to announce his decision as early as Sunday night and sign July 6th

Clippers posted a "thank you DeAndre" tweet. ROP Lob City. It's officially dead.

Very true. He wouldn't be flying to van Nuys over LAX if he was going to the Lakers facility in el segundo. It's over boys

So what would y'all be happy giving up for Kawhi?

Lonzo and Ingram?

The fact that the Lakers have to give up Ingram while the celtics aren't aren't even giving up brown and the Sixers aren't even giving up fultz is kinda insane

Well Lakers know they're trading him and he's going to stay. The other 2 don't, so they're less likely to be inclined to give up more. The thing is, Lakers know getting kawhi all but guarantees lebron now. Not next year, but now.

Also, I'll be honest. I really like ingram and think he's going to take a substantial leap this year, but the truth is he's still really raw. Moreso than most ever thought he would be.

People said he's going to transition faster than Brown and while Brown had a equally high ceiling, his floor was substantially lower. In fact its the other way around I think.

The Spurs are definitely holding the Lakers to a different standard. To answer question yes I would trade Ball and Ingram for Leonard. Word is Spurs have no interest in Ball though. I'm starting to think the Lakers should just tell the Spurs to go frick themselves if they want more than Ingram and a future #1 pick.

Ingram and Deng for Leonard.

Sign James and George.

Possibly resign Randle or convince Jordan to switch locker rooms.

Play Ball, George, Leonard, James, and Randle or Jordan.

Top 3 team right there.

and we may get lebron right now regardless. The spurs dont have nearly as much leverage over the Lakers as people are acting like. If getting Kawhi meant lebron, the Lakers would have made a deal happen. But it's been said by multiple people that lebron is more than willing to come alone. They have lost their leverage imo

We are 36 hours from telling them to go frick themselves if they want Ingram in the first place. Hell, I'd start doing that right now
