Depends on what you're getting back if you're New Orleans
Gotta think Ball/Ingram/Kuzma are the only assets you'd ask for back, and I can't think there's any way LA parts with any of those guys.

Also, if LA is over the cap, we have to match salaries, right? Who else other than Deng would work coming back?

I don't see how that would work.

Kawhi is not going to be in San Antonio after next year

That has nothing to do with the Lakers, and everything to do with the complete breakdown between him and the spurs

really? You seriously dont see the downside in the spurs not finding a trade partner this summer and going into the season with Kawhi? Ok

They could also find a better trade if Kawhi changes his mind and becomes open to other teams. As it currently stands looks like the Spurs are going to be patient.

They are not going to find a better trade at any point in time than right now. Every day this goes on is worse for the spurs because it gives the team getting him less time to convince him to stay

What’s your opinion on Boogie?

I loved him before the injury but I just don’t see how he comes back as the same player. When is he even going to be able to play this coming season?

They still have space, the trade would likely work with Kuz/Deng. Still don't think they'd do it, though.

Man what are the Lakers doing? Surely you could have found better 1 year rentals than this shite.

honestly, I think he'll be better. he has relied on his athleticism throughout his career. that makes him have the jaw-dropping plays, but also gets him into a lot trouble. his monster turnover rate is due to him trying to take people off the dribble and drive the lane.

I think the injury will slow him down and force him to play smarter. if he does, which means he cuts way down on his turnovers and takes better shots, I think he'll be better

I'm legit worried lebron is about to back out

Y'all are crazy if you think Lebron isn't having input into these picks. He's definitely in constant communication with Magic about who he thinks is a good fit.

Now, I'm not sure if that's a good thing for Lakers fans or not.

If the Lakers get Boogie they're even dumber than I thought

Smartest play for them now, if they can't get Kawhi, is to just sit tight and wait for next year

Pretty sure Magic and Bron understand this

Why the frick aren’t the Lakers going after any shooters? KCP is the only hired gun on the roster right now
