I think the one year thing is hurting them right now. But I feel like they could have brought back Lopez and got Evans pretty easily instead of this shite

If the Lakers get Boogie they're even dumber than I thought

Smartest play for them now, if they can't get Kawhi, is to just sit tight and wait for next year

Pretty sure Magic and Bron understand this

I mean, this squad is a lot better than the Cavs top to bottom. Lebron will have this team playing a high level.

Now, if Lonzo learns the little basketball necessity called shooting, they can really make noise.

Still aren't beating Golden State though.

The Stephenson signing is perplexing.

25.5 of KCP, Rondo, and Lance is wilddddd

Next they’re gonna sign Dwight Howard

I wonder if the Lakers only offered Randle one year today and he requested to be a free agent rather than sign?

This is a great point. As much as people attacked Lonzo's year last year, his VORP was better than Love's, and Love was the second best Cav in VORP. Right now, the Lakers are better situated than the Cavs.

Of course, the results may not match because the West is tougher, but LeBron has some legit teammates.

Ooh I didn’t think about this

Eric Pincus @EricPincus The Lakers' relationship with Aaron Mintz of CAA was not a fruitful one - poor mutual experience with D'Angelo Russell, Lakers' prioritized cap room over an extension for Randle, benched him, etc. - George didn't give Lakers a meeting. It's all connected and apparently over

Why the frick aren’t the Lakers going after any shooters? KCP is the only hired gun on the roster right now

Ingram & Kuzma can shoot

Wow I totally missed them renouncing Randle. That really sucks. He was arguably the best player on the roster last season

They still have kuzma randle, Ingram. Lonzo is subject of prayers in magics household.
Dude shot 45% ft. Remake that launch now.
This is so interesting.
Like Simmons, a shot away from greatness. 2 really. Ft and 3 pt. Will one of them figure it out from 3? Ft?

That’s really not saying much cavs are a sub 30 win team without Lebron last year

Right now the rest of their rotation outside Lebron is probably

Ball
Rondo
KCP
Hart
Stephenson
Ingram
Kuzma
McGee
Zubac?

Four of those guys (KCP Hart Ingram Kuzma) will actually create space as shooters. Not ideal

Both of them have terrible form and FT% is a great indicator that they aren't exactly close. Could improve but its likely neither will improve much in the short term.

Lonzo has a completely different form shooting 3s than he does inside the arch. Its nuts.
