Rondo said he has five gears to his season
1st gear - preseason
2nd gear - pre all star break
3rd gear - post all star break
4th gear - playoffs
5th gear - finals
he is not an asset in the regular season...really cracked B up when people said the pels were gonna be a so and so high seed because of Rondo
he's not a regular season player at all, I will give him his props for his postseason play though.

Spurs are in re-build regardless of whether he leaves or stays. Lakers aren't gonna give the spurs anybody now that they are signing all these 1 year deals and are in good position to be able to give Kawhi the max next year.

Maybe spurs prefer the cap space generated by Leonard leaving over the players they can acquire for him via trade.

Depends on what you're getting back if you're New Orleans. I really don't think the Lakers want Boogie though. He doesn't really make sense for that team/timeline due to the risk of his injury.
ETA: I'd do Kuz and Deng for Boogie all day, but I doubt the Lakers would do that.
