Been lots of talk (understandably) about ESPN not breaking draft pick information ahead of time during this year’s NBA Draft, but it isn't going to be the only league broadcast partner to be withholding from breaking picks. Yahoo, Turner, etc. have agreed to do the same.

Idk why people care about that stuff so much.
I understand why a network would care (ratings), but what difference does it make if you hear a pick from the mouth of Silver vs a few minutes before?

Somebody just RT'd this:

Woj on Orlando’s thinking heading into Thursday: It’s “razor-thin” between Sexton and Trae right now at No. 6.

His only hope is to go to a team with a strong defensive coach.

I know it’s not FA related, but we could mark this down as Rumors

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn Luka Doncic has moved to forefront of Atlanta's internal conversation on the third overall pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, league sources tell ESPN. Michigan State's Jaren Jackson and Duke's Marvin Bagley (if Kings pass on Bagley at No. 2) remain in contention for No. 3

Leonard wants a trade to Los Angeles, preferably the Lakers over the Clippers, league sources said. He has privately maintained that he no longer wants to play in San Antonio, and will eventually alert rival teams considering trades for him that his intentions are to sign in Los Angeles -- preferably with the Lakers -- when he can become a free agent in 2019, league sources said.

The Spurs are unlikely to be motivated to facilitate a deal to the Lakers, league sources said. Leonard, a two-time first-team All-NBA player, can become an unrestricted free agent in 2019. He is eligible to sign a five-year, $219 million super maximum contract with the Spurs this summer. Leonard had told confidants that he did not want to sit down with Popovich and has been purposely difficult for the Spurs to reach recently. Among the issues, Leonard is angry over what he believes was the Spurs' mishandling of a quad injury, and remains irate with public comments out of teammate Tony Parker and Popovich that he felt were not supportive of him, league sources said.

Theres no chance Kawhi is in a Lakers uniform this upcoming season. None whatsoever. Zilch.Zero.Nil.

The absolute best case scenario for the Lakers that's somewhat realistic is LeBron and Paul George.

The third star would have to be someone like Kemba Walker as there aren't many other stars out there that are going to be available via trade tbh.

This seems like a great way to stay trapped in San Antonio this year. He could at least pretend like he was re-signing with other teams so they'd give up assets to get him. Why would anybody go for him when he's openly admitting this?
