Neither does Harden.

CC was Harden not sucking dick when it mattered and a CP3 old arse leg away from reaching the finals last season.

To me, it would be easier to keep the squad as is and Harden learn to be more like Lebron when it matters...than to get rid of some nice pieces and have them all gel and then STILL not know what Harden they'll get each night in the playoffs.

If you think adding Lebron hurts LA's chance of getting top talent I don't know what to tell you.

So would you trade Simmons or Embiid if you knew it would get you both Kawhi and Lebron?

I would trade Simmons, but not Embiid. It would be nice to somehow keep both, but Simmons needs work to be able to spread the floor.

If it centered around just Simmons for Leonard then the Sixers could play a lineup of

James
Leonard
Covington
Saric
Embiid

There's not a lot of top talent that's easily obtainable. Everything at this point is going to have to get done through a trade.

Harden and Paul make any player look good. They are two of the best playmakers ever. they could turnover the whole roster outside of those two guys and still be the second best team in the league.

So will Magic and crew learn anything from the PG13 situation?

They could have had George last year had they simply traded Ball or Ingram for him

Or learn from the Dwight Howard situation and begin begging for Leonard to re- sign n a year? Unless he agrees to the extension before the trade ......

I would not trust a 1 year rental unless I already have an all NBA talent locked up. These players are too damn flaky/ phony to gamble.
