Which might not be too good, since they refuse to give up. They will be a playoff team in the East no problem.
A first round pick that isn't in the lottery is pretty much worthless.

@JordanSWhite: Klay and Tristan for Love? Not that I believe the rumor but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

arent Ariza and Parsons the same player really?
Not really.

Why go over the cap to create a logjam?
There isn't a logjam though. Ariza will probably backup Harden and Parsons. Parsons will play the 3 and probably end games at the 4. We were ending games with a Lin/Bev/Harden/Parsons/Howard lineup. Replacing Lin with Ariza is a solid upgrade.

Exactly. If the Rockets just replaced Parsons with Ariza straight-up they basically return last year's team with slightly better defense and a much weaker bench. Ariza makes a lot more sense as a sixth man considering they have Parsons' Bird rights and can go over the cap matching him.
Right now I look at it as we traded Lin, Asik and our 1st for Ariza, the Pels 1st and whoever else we sign.

Warriors get multiple 1st rnd picks. Wolves get Klay and Tristan Thompson. Love to Cavs
If that includes some of Minny's picks to GS seems like the Wolves gets the shortest stick in that trade.

I love people like this that believe the T'Wolves are going to get the farm for a deal. If Love tells Flip "The only team I'll sign an extension with is Cleveland" what is he supposed to do?

Cavs would be so good with Kyrie, Wiggins, Bron, Love. Damn.
Young, but damn.

Once they trade him, why should they care what he does next year? It's up to the team trading for him to make sure he resigns next year.

Nobody is going to trade for him if they can't get a guarantee that he will resign.
Cavs have that guarantee.

Because other teams would be less likely to trade for him if they only get Love for a year

@WojYahooNBA: Miami's pursuing free agent Luol Deng with an offer near $10 million per season, on a short deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

He said he'd stay in Cleveland, where did he say he wouldn't go anywhere else?

They won't be all that young after the Bronies like Ray Allen and Mike Miller sign there.
Posted on 7/12/14 at 7:07 pm to Jwho77
@WojYahooNBA: Dallas may pursue Lance Stephenson on a bigger money, shorter deal before turning to Deng -- assuming Houston matches on Chandler Parsons.

I'd rather have cap space than Klay and Tristan Thompson. Besides, I don't think the Cavs will have the cap space to sign Love so they are going to have to trade for him.

I highly doubt Parsons doesn't get matched.

Parsons is being overvalued. His biggest asset was his cap number

I'd fricking hope so.
I'm more in line with this

Chris Mannix: One exec on Cavs chance at K-Love w/out including Andrew Wiggins. "No way. If I'm Minnesota, I want Wiggins, Dion Waiters and two No. 1's."
