I love Chandler Parsons, but he has lost so much value this off-season.

The clincher for Parsons is that he is an above average NBA starter making less than a million a year. Now, he's about to be overpaid either by Houston or somebody else.

Houston isn't the only team that wants him. He's a young versatile player that is capable of averaging 17 5 & 5 not to mention he shoots it well from 3. He's a better player than Hayward who is getting a max.

There's a reason other teams are after Parsons. His skill set is far from average.

Still blows my mind that he hasn't already jumped on that Houston offer.

Same. Dude must seriously love playing with LeBron.

Well that offer isn't going anywhere until at least midnight tonight. That's when the real show starts.

So what happens in Houston if someone makes a large offer for Parsons at midnight, he signs the offer sheet, and this whole LeBron/Melo/Bosh drama drags on for another week?

I don't see it happening. Miami's trying to get Bosh for less than $15 million a year. That's BS. Bosh needs to come to his senses and move on. It's a better fit for him in Houston anyway.

It's July 9 and Chandler Parsons has yet to even take a FA visit. Not even a 1% chance he leaves Houston, folks. Lockstep the whole way.

I just hope LeBron makes a move tonight. Because then all hell will break loose.

Parsons would still likely wait to sign the offer sheet until Houston has everything figured out. Heck if they get Bosh, he becomes unrestricted anyway

Morey will be in Parsons' ear. He declined the team option in order to make sure Parsons gets paid. Parsons respects Morey and will give him the opportunity to match, which might mean waiting to sign an offer sheet.

Even if he is offered a max deal like Hayward?

Also, if LBJ goes to Cleveland, Cleveland draft picks are no longer coveted.

That last Miami pick may be, though.

Plus he loves playing for McHale and w/Dwight and James. He's a perfect fit. Really if they add Bosh, they have to be top 2-3 favorites up there with OKC and SA.

Soo Melo is clearly waiting for Lebron (or Bosh) to make a decision, right?

There can't be any other reason.

Going to enjoy Houston going over the luxury tax, paying the non-tax teams, and still getting bounced in the first 2 rounds.

Bosh was vocal about taking less money after the season, but I don't think he expected an offer like the one Houston is making to appear.
