@ChrisBHaynes Yahoo Sources: New York Knicks have a one-year, roughly $15 million offer on the table for Marcus Morris who is considering reneging on his two-year, $20 million agreement with San Antonio.

Anyone mind explaining how this works? Players can sign and just say frick it?

He just has a verbal agreement with SA, not an actual signed contract.

Sources: Warriors are waiving guard Shaun Livingston, who is guaranteed $2M of his $7.7M salary for season. Livingston, 33, is determined to continue playing and becomes one more valuable free agent candidate for contenders. He’s won three NBA titles and reached five Finals.

Golden St. will elect to use the stretch provision on Livingston- $666K cap hit over the next 3 seasons. The waive/stretch is necessary for the team to remain below the $138.9M tax apron- $219K below now.

How often do players do this? Seems problematic when you consider how many other deals could be tied in.

Not very often, it’s a shitty thing to do. I can only remember DeAndre Jordan and Carlos Boozer doing it in the past.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are declining to match the Memphis Grizzlies’ three-year, $28M offer sheet for restricted free agent guard Tyus Jones, league sources tell ESPN.

Of all the Warriors, I would not have put my money on Shaun Livingston as the devil.

Shaun Livingston
not really a big deal if the Warriors lose him, IMO. He's been slowly declining as a player the last 3 years. He had a chance to solidify himself in the playoffs this year and he wasn't good. Had a negative +/- and negative Net Rating in the playoffs.

He Was the pretty clear the worse player on the court in the finals. I would be surprised if he catches on anywhere tbt.

Livingston is probably the most exciting high school basketball recruit I had seen play live.

He's extended his career far further than I think anyone would've predicted after that knee injury
