No one thinks that team would be decent. JR and Melo are done. Rondo has a little left, but unless you're getting him for the minimum, there's no point.

Exactly. Melo is just a name now. High recognition factor that is used to make it look like the FO is making moves to improve the team. But he's done.

Philadelphia has been privately expressing confidence around NBA that it can re-sign Butler and Tobias Harris, but Houston remains on case of selling Butler/76ers with a sign-and-trade scenario once free agency starts on Sunday.
Tampering needs to go the way of travelling in the NBA. Just don't call it anymore.
