When y'all sign Melo are you going to pretend like it's a good and important move?

melo is junk dude but he's better than a rookie as 10-12th man. do you agree/disagree?

lake show might need to fill roster with vet mins. no way around it. the lg has too much money to outbid us on mid-level guys

Depending on the rookie I actually disagree. Plus the rookie could improve over the next season or two and turn into a real contributor vs Melo who’s borderline out of the NBA

It’s hard to overstate how trash Melo is at basketball now and he just doesn’t give a frick

Shaney if Jim harden can't make Melo a better player no one can. He should save face, admit that his legs are gone, and retire.

Lakers need to show up with bushels of red apples. Back that apple truck up for the board man.

fact is melo actually has some encouraging individual statistics that would make him an interesting super depth guy that can come in for 10 minutes, get three or so threes up, and then park his arse on the bench for the rest of the game

but he clearly does not care and isnt worth the time. i did want the lakers to bring him in last year though

gotta think emotionality LeBron can get the most out of him in a one season scenario. melo has always wanted the ring so the effort might be there if the chance exists

he not my first choice obviously ftr

nice to know we have reached the stage of this thread where any little minimum guy we are going to get is going to automatically become a starter and get 30+ minutes for us

He’s not a good shooter anymore and doesn’t exactly strike me as the type that was working to improve during his extended hiatus. I would rather take a chance on an experienced UDFA honestly than him at this point.

Lol have you watched Melo play the past two years? His legs are gone. Been gone. His jumper is worthless. No amount of motivation is gonna change that.

You dont really know much about the game my dude.

Nah. There are a lot of people who want to be B, but there's only one B.

This is the only value he has.

Melo's only role is when the game is going poorly, you toss him out there. Either he gets hot and brings you back, or you lose by 25 instead of 20.

Even if the other Lakers are vet minimum guys, he isn't a rotation player any more.
