True, the Lakers have had a very rough recent history. But to use 8 years is a convenient cutoff, and even in that timeframe neither organization has done anything that really matters. Pels have had the best season in that specific timeframe where neither team put together a memorable season, so to me that is about as minuscule a victory as there is when comparing the two.
