Probably one of the worst fundamental games they played all year. Yeah, they made some highlight reel plays in the field, but terrible base running and 4 errors. Yet they beat Scherzer in a playoff game.

What a game by Quintana too though.
He was overshadowed by Scherzer but he pitched a hell of a game around some poor and some great defense.

Dusty has a history of leaving pitchers in too long. Now he pulls them and is getting crushed. The guy can't win. I just figure it this way, as z Cubs fan I was happy to see those guys pulled, so, wrong move.

Both teams were hurt by poor managerial decisions.
If I'm playing to win, I want Scherzer (even in his current condition) vs a pissed off Schwarber every time as opposed to a not very good lefty vs Almora in that situation.
