Get off your knees Carl's Jr., you're blowing the game.

That better not happen again.

Really big game. I expect Scherzer to be dealing, so Q needs to be on point, and the offense will need to be patient and jump on any mistakes like they did against Strasburg.

Nats seem sure that they've turned a corner. Let's put those douchers back in their place, home after the first round.

Some peculiar lineup construction has some Cubs fans questioning Joe. Zobrist batting fifth is the obvious decision to look twice at. Joe's playing a hunch. Let's hope he's right.

In other news, while waiting for first pitch, I humbly bring you THIS bit of Cardinals schadenfreude.

Agreed. Joe says Zobrist is going to play if he's healthy. I don't think either him or Baez will have success against Scherzer, but the defense is getting a downgrade with Zobrist at 2nd. I've also seen some people suggesting La Stella should get the start over Zobrist.

There's also some chatter that Avila could've gotten the start over Contreras because of Scherzer's splits, but I don't know if I can agree with that.

Im just happy Jay is leading off. He always seems to gave quality at bats.

That being said he'll probably go 0-4 tonight.

Jay has looked good the past 2-3 weeks. Let's hope Quintana can give us 7 today

Nice clean inning with soft contact all around for Q. Exactly what needed to happen.

You don't throw inside to a playoff hero. Schwarber is going to discipline that fool.

Can't afford to kick the ball around like that in a playoff game.
