I agree. Nats fans are classy. Exhibit #1 were the titties behind home plate.

Has he impressed in any prior pitched World Series Game?

Lol at any nats fans bitching about calls...look at the strike/ball calls from the first inning...Astros got hosed on a ton of close ones..really shifted momentum a few times. Astros gotta overcome the powers that be wanting a game 7.
Yah going from runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs, and runner on 1st with 1 out isn't a very big deal.

I can see Scherzer being too amped up and not having it. Plus the back problem. But I can also see Greinke crapping the bed too.

Right! Exactly what happened when Brantley got called out on that strike that missed by 6 inches. I’m glad you noticed.

Scherzer is gonna pitch tomorrow until his arm falls off. Hell he might choke out Dave Martinez when he comes to pull him

Tonight sucked, but if you'd have told me at the trade deadline that we'd have a game 7 at home with Greinke, I'd have taken that.

Scherzer looked nervous as frick in his other WS game. This is even bigger. It's not this sure thing that the Nats will win. As long as Strasburg isn't on the mound it's a significant drop off for the Nats. I would 100% take Greinke over Verlander at this point. Verlander is not a world series pitcher at this point. He has shite the bed too many times now.
I can see any scenario playing out, but the Nats definitely need Scherzer to go 6+ innings.

I've got about as much confidence in Grienke in Game 7 of the World Series as I do in a Ford Model T running a Nascar race.

Most of the people shitposting were doing the same in the Yankee series.

Joe Torre is lying through his teeth

After game 2 I would have been ecstatic to get a game 7... and here we are.
Tonight no longer matters.

Help us Greinke wan. You're our only hope!

Joe was talking in circles lol

Joe Torre saying a whole lotta nothing

I refuse to believe that the road team will win all seven games. That's insane. That said, the pitching matchup worries me, and as I said earlier if the Astros put up runs in the first, that's a bad sign.

Felt the same after Verlander list Game 6, but then Morton became a hero. Just gunna ride it out and see what happens. Bats need to come alive either way.

unless the opposing pitcher is tipping his pitches the astros won't hit shite.
so basically if max doesn't tip pitches he'll throw 6 scoreless innings. astros bats are dead.
