He was an awful driver. He quit a job he was awful at.
Some have said the exact same thing about Kaepernick.

A man with some balls apparently.
That is a rarity among males in a position that requires on corporate sponsorships.

I've always been a NASCAR fan, dickhead.
I went to the caution free race at Talladega back in 1997, which was the fastest 500 mile race in NASCAR history.
I stopped following as much after Earnhardt died. The racing stopped being the same, whether it be on what used to be plate tracks or the 1.5 mile tracks.
This dude quitting over all of this is a joke. If he was a halfway decent driver with a few wins, give him attention. He's got a 9th place finish and has led one lap in nearly 2k laps ran. He's a joke and his stance is comical.

Yet you still have to be good enough to get a sponsor. You obviously are not. GFY.

If any driver quit because they wouldn't ban the flag, you would mock them relentlessly.

Lol Kaep was a far better qb than this guy ever was as a driver.

I don’t understand why some people are so proud to carry a flag of a bunch of losers.

That's what I don't understand. He could have just said he disagrees without quitting his job.
If he expresses his opinion, then people just agree or disagree, but he keeps making money. Potentially even makes more money from the people who agree with him and have never heard of him.
Instead, he just straight up quits.

quote:NASCAR sanctions the races. They can say you either abide by our rules or we don't bring our races to your track(s).
Everyone says NASCAR can ban the Confederate Flags from their races, but can they? Sure NASCAR can ban it on tracks they own, but what about non-NASCAR tracks? Tracks like Indy, Pocono, Kentucky, Charlotte, Dover, Atlanta, Bristol, Vegas, Texas and Sonoma. That's 16 out of the 36 races on the NASCAR schedule.
Kentucky, Charlotte, Atlanta, Bristol, Vegas, Texas, and Sonoma are all owned by Speedway Motorsports.
Dover and Nashville are owned by Dover Downs.
Indy and Pocono are both independently owned.
Without NASCAR bringing races to their tracks, what do they do to make money? They are somewhat held at the barrel of a gun.

He led a team to the Super Bowl.
Has a 72 TDs to 30 INTs.
4-2 in the playoffs.
He struggled most in 2015, and even though the 49ers went 1-10 with him as a starter in his last season he had 16 TDs, 4 INTs.
To compare him to this dipshit, no talent truck series driver is a blind comparison lacking facts or reason.

They aren't pandering to the LGBT/BLM crowd, they are pandering to their sponsors. Without their sponsors it doesn't matter how many confederate flag waving rednecks are in the stands there is no NASCAR. It was not a dumb move, it was the only move if they want to continue as a national sport.
Their sponsors will drop em whenever the people stop tuning in. So either way, they’re fricked.

Ray Ciccarelli announced the end of his NASCAR Truck Series career with a furious Facebook post on Wednesday shortly after NASCAR banned Confederate flags from all events.
