Not sure how he'd prove the tangible damage done for defamation, especially this soon after the report.

You can sue him for $1. You have to fight back officially through the court system though to show you're not backing down from this accusation.

Put Myles Garrett under oath and make him lie again.

He isn’t talking about Myles losing his job....

It's despicable if he's lying, but proving his lying is basically impossible. Rudolph has no case in all likelihood.

ETA - was thinking you meant slander case.

The funny thing is, the rant (and likely posters in this thread) was uniformly behind Jeremy Hill and the “team vote” when he pulled this same shite in 2013.

If he loses his job because of it, that’s about as easy of a claim as can be
Well yea...but he hasn't lost his job because of it.

He hasn't even lost his job at all.

Depends on JXN, but defamation per se probably fits here

I have no idea what JXN means, so I'm going to just assume you know more about me on the subject and default to your expertise.

The NFL can get very clear audio at pretty much any point on the field. I'm sure the NFL can figure out if he said this or not.

Those who can't defend, slander and hope it somehow goes away notwithstanding the self-defense he used was completely unreasonable and disproportionate against small-arse Mason Rudolph

Ahh my bad, was thinking you were going the slander route. Yeah, the battery case is a lock.
