Matt Liuzza was a great HS player but didn't dominate games like Avrard and Winchester.

Liuzza was very dominant in HS.

Liotta was the closest of the bunch as far as dominance to Avrard and Winchester.

agree. And Tim Nugent may have been more dominant than either as a pitcher

Xavier Paul had flashes of brilliance but was very inconsistent.

meh. He's prob the best FR/SOPH baseball player to ever play at the school.

Did you see Corey play? How old are you since you apparently went to Rummel?

yes i absolutely know who corey avrard is. Forgot about him in my original post, but he wouldnt make my mount rushmore, top 4 athletes.

I know Jeff pretty well. He transferred to Tulane after going to I think SMU. He played pro ball in Italy for around 9 or 10 years. His wife is Italian.

Now are we talking HS dominance or making it to the majors in their respective sport. I thought we were going for HS dominance.

Either way, I'll give you J Bullinger and Steltz. On the fence with Lewis but I see where you are going (he might have been the best all around basketball player to plat at Rummel), but I totally disagree with Paul.

He was not the most dominant baseball player in Rummel History. He was very talented and had a couple very good few years but he didn't even finished school at Rummel so why would he be on their Mt. Rushmore.

i already said that was a mistake, when i left he was still at Rummel and i forgot he had left to go to Slidell.

i brought both into the equation. And guys that both dominated in HS, i simply chose the guys that had went further professionally

Now that I know you went to Rummel your screen name makes a lot more sense. I had a court side sheet for that show...

Yeah. Rode the bench. Did get the play at the end though in garbage time...

I remember seeing an ally oop developing with him when he was around half court. That bastard made all his damn free throws and that was supposed to be his weak point...

X Paul 1st MLB HR tonight

and yeah that state game was a disaster But Rusty Jones was able to milk Rummel for a job for almost another decade probably because of that. I swear the basketball team didnt do shite for years after that
