I played a pick-up game with Jay Williams, Johnny Dawkins's son (probably about 12 or 13 years old at the time), and three of my friends. Williams suggested we do a 3 on 3 game when we were shooting around in the gym on a Friday afternoon after class. Williams was training Dawkins's son and doing drills while we were just launching threes for a few minutes, and then Jay asked if he wanted to play.
Fortunately, he still wasn't very explosive (about 2 years removed from the accident) and he also wasn't trying hard at all. He never drove in against us and mostly fed the ball to Dawkins's son, who was the worst player on the court. Friendly guy who mostly just joked around.
Some of my friends played pick up games with Dawkins and his son. Dawkins would never shoot the ball in those games and apparently gave very useful advice to everyone during breaks.

played against Eli in 8th grade football at BM vs Newman
I tackled him for a 1-2 yard gain but I consider it a sack.

Played football against Eric Andolsek (RIP)
Played football and basketball against Jamie Lawson (TB Bucs RB)
Played football and basketball against Tom Hodson for several years. As good a QB as he was he was just as good or better in basketball. He averaged around 40 a game in jr high without a 3 point line.

No Warrick Dunn mentions in here? I missed a few pages though.
I worked out w/ Dunn for a few weeks one summer during his college days. He wanted me to set him up w/ a hot chick friend of mine, so that is probably why we shot the bull while lifting weights.
Played against Ben McDonald in high school.
