Personally I have no real reason to hate Texas... I find the whole we're better than others because we're from Texas kinda amazing out of a bunch of dumb rednecks... but w/e
Didn't grow up in Louisiana either... so I'm guessing my dislike of their arrogance is fairly legit
FFS - their state motto might as well be "we're arrogant, please tip your cap to our idiocy"

I have never encountered a more smug and arrogant fanbase than at Colorado. USC fans are arrogant but at least friendly for the most part. Not s'much in Boulder.

Its gotta be a school who doesnt back it up...
Texas, Notre Dame, Tennessee would be my top 5. Ohio State would rank why for obnoxious but not arrogant in my opinion, at least OSU has been a top 5 program pretty much every year for the last decade

What does it even mean to "feel entitled" with regard to football. You have to win and everybody knows that. Texas thinks they should win most games because, frankly, the SHOULD win most games with their talent. Their talent level and competition level promotes that type of thinking.
Was that thinking out of line with how good the team actually was last season? Sure. But you could say the same thing about LSU the last two years, about Miami right now in general, about USC right now in general, about Ohio State pretty much every year, and so on....
My point was that LSU fans have a Texas complex. This gets demonstrated over and over again on this board.
I guess I don't quite get it because I happened to attend both schools at one point or another. The two teams rarely play each other in any sport. I mean....3 times in 3 sports over the last decade. It isn't a rivalry or anything.
