Could a fan attend the bowl game practice on Thursday?


I saw that the Wednesday practice was fully open to the media but I'm curious if fans could attend.


I live close by and was curious if I'd be able to attend the next practice.

Would he leave is Alma Mater for a larger more established program? Or is he committed to building Texas Tech?

What are the opinions of fans or close observers of him as a head coach?

I haven't heard his name thrown out there and I'm curious if this is because the perception is that he is committed to staying or if the perception is he isn't ready for a slightly bigger program.
I understand he has a .500 record as a head coach so I can see that people might want more data before he'd get an offer but his offensive focus and overall "style" seems like it would be an easy sell for programs looking for a rebound... Maybe someplace like Miami?


Thoughts?

This last episode, Red Team III, was by far the best I've seen. I think the program is serviceable but does have its faults like most shows. Granted I have only caught a handful of episodes here and there, but I have enjoyed the ones I have seen in the past.

I have worked for years at TV stations in large and small markets and the fact of the matter is that most people who are out covering the news on a daily basis, specifically human interest stories, sway more liberal in their sympathies. Even if they vote Republican they have a more open mind to opposing views because in their profession it is necessary to be able to gather and understand facts from opposing sides to really flesh out an issue. That is just my experience anyway.

I think the show does a good job representing the types of individuals that could be in a newsroom environment and the fact that the lens which they tend to see the world through tends to be colored blue not red… for better or worse. The merits of this should stay on the political board.

We (UCF) beat Florida in basketball as well...I think we just have it over UF this year.

I like what Rooney did from his 1st year to his 2nd year coaching. If he can get them to close out the year strong he will have improved yet again in his 3rd yr...

I picked Mark Martin because I thought he was the most talented no matter the car- Cup, Bush (Nationwide now) or IROC and he was the most well respected among other drivers.

He wants to slash education spending in general.
If cutting some sport spending means that we arent cutting back as much on student's facilities, technology or teachers...I dont mind so much.

Privately funded HS age Football Leagues seems like it could take off. The issue becomes how privatized would you want it to be? A seperate entity from schools altogether or a parent organization the distributes money among schools and handles fundraising etc.

I think a risk you'd take is kids would be vulnerable to being corrupted by gifts, etc. similar to the troubles that AAU basketball faces.
