They already woke enough, but can you at least get former athletes that can put together a full sentence?? The Morris brothers are unwatchable

Lowest common denominator

I don't watch sports talk shows anymore, I keep Remember the 80s (Samsung TV Plus) on as my background music while I am at home.

Had the TV on the sports channels this morning waiting on the CWS to crank back up…..

I’m legit amazed at how terrible the programming is. The demographic being targeted with these shows must be at roughly a sixth grade level of education.

It would be nice if black former athletes didn't try to prove how black they are. We can see.

Even non-athlete sports talk guys are sounding more ghetto now. Learn some proper English, guys

Everyone wants that street cred hence the sneakers while wearing a suit combo that looks ridiculous.

Why do suit pants have such tight ankles nowadays? They look like Mom jeans.

National sports shows have lost their edge—devoting too much time to obscure sports for political posturing and the panelists have turned them into an Internet hot-take contest. I'll stick with the local sports show who give me a healthy dose of the teams I am interested in and an occasional segment on a hot topic from the big 3 sports.

Woke corporations have taken over media so this is the end result of what they are putting out on these sports “talk” shows. Watch the games, make up your own mind about the games you watch, & turn off these “shows” that are only there for propaganda for their cause. Don’t give them ratings.

I think what made Cold Pizza's 1st and 10/First Take fun when it was Skip and Stephen A was that we still got our normal ESPN highlights and everything was the same, but there was this one show a day where it was fun to see analysts debate each other.

ESPN, unfortunately, just jumped the shark, turned the entire network into "debate" shows, and forced this down the viewers' throats until viewers get tired of it and switch off.

It's such a shame. Good things come in small doses...

The same with the food/cooking networks my wife watches. Everything is now a competition.

Fun? Damn. You know it was/is all contrived, right? I recall a former production assistant for Steven A and Skip Bayless interviewed and confirmed what people already knew- that's those "debates" were pre-determined in production meetings. It's always been fake as shite and unwatchable.

I vividly remember when skippy & Shannon had their show. Skip couldn’t stand Kawai because he screwed the spurs…fair enough. As soon as Lebron signed with the lakers (Shannon’s fav player and team) skip magically loved kawai so they could go back and forth everyday

The initial breakout debates of First Take was Tebow-mania, so no it was never fun.

I turned all these off years ago. Even the pre game shows. Most of these conversations are uninteresting, repetitive and boring.

Cowherd is still my favorite. Yeah he hammers a Rodgers, USC and shedeur but he pretty much stays away from politics

Ever since Mushmouth Sharpe got hired, the bar has been extremely low.
