I can ensure all of you that Kevin Warren is a step up from Ted Phillips.

We’ve worked with Kevin (Warren) and George (McCaskey) and all our leadership to make sure we were handling it the right way, and everything concluded yesterday.”

The rumors on social media are offensive and one hundred percent untrue," said Andrew M. Stroth, Williams' personal attorney. "Coach Williams resigned today because of personal health challenges and personal family issues. There was no raid on Halas Hall, and no raid on his home."

Bears may have surpassed the Browns and Mets for worst organization in sports.

They need to nuke that place and start over from the GM to the cheerleaders.

Also wtf is it with midwest teams and (allegedly) sex issues this offseason?

Edit: I see it may be gambling now but still. The Midwest has been on a run since April

Cool Andrew, if he isnt in hot water, then why did the bears just simply say he resigned. They didnt thank him, wish him well, or anything.

At the same time, I don't know why they said anything at all if something serious is 100% to get out (which is what would happen in a criminal investigation)

The lawyer may not be telling the truth. A real shocking turn of events.

Well they did have to acknowledge that he didnt even travel with the team and wasnt going to be at the game Sunday.

They literally said as little as possible for a reason.

Its pretty rare for a lawyer however to make a completely false statement that will be easily verifiable like "his home was not raided".

It will come out that his home was raided, if it was raided.

Lawyers usually use lawyer speak in that situation. Of course...he could have had an apartment that was raided.

That's fair.

When the Bears initially said that "halas hall was not raided", the lawyer alarm bells went off.

They may not have been raided. They may have let the FBI right on in.

Yeah maybe they just showed a search warrant and he let them in. Technically not a raid
