Neville for one will be playing tomorrow instead of Friday due to expected bad weather on Friday. I have not heard about any other local games.

A few drops of rain and people lose their minds.

I'm not sure what made it happen. Doesn't look too terrible from the prog chart I saw. But good for me. I'm heading to Oxford Friday night for the Ole Miss game and would have missed good football.

No one cares about rain. It’s the ludicrous lightning rules now. We’ve lost entire scrimmages/jamborees because the delay went several hours long. With those rules, everyone is going to try and avoid rain if possible.

WM/Ouachita
Carroll/Wossman
OCS/St Fred

All moved. Many more as well.

And we wonder why our kids are soft.

Give me a break, most play on turf now and we still move games because a chance of rain. Unbelievable

I would think the last minute change would really affect their game prep. Where is WM playing this week?

If it looks like rain, just play each other on Madden. Safe for all, and save travel costs.

This is hilarious. It's not even supposed to rain now.

those rules have been in place since the 70s.. early 70s

except then it was a 20 minute wait not 30.

and gate money has much more to do with it.

Except then there weren't apps showing lightning strikes and refs hovering over said apps waiting to call the game. We had an hour delay this year with zero rain/sunny entire time because there was lightning 10 miles away, moving the opposite direction.

Am I the only person who is illogically terrified of lightning?

Good, this is a Thursday game or at least was when I was living in the area every year. It should always be a Thursday game with the protestants and catholics battling on 165.

You are correct here. I bought the tickets for a Arkansas fan for her birthday before Freeze hooker scandal and Arkansas forgot it's OK to tackle someone. Should be fun atmosphere regardless. Good football, meh!
