The MLBPA is getting roasted in the comments section of their tweet.

I don’t think anyone will lose sleep over millionaires being paid less nowadays.

When the common man is hurting, the whining of spoiled athletes will fall on deaf ears.

Thst “great season” is going to drive down salaries as teams realize overpaying stars isn’t the only way…

Everybody wants to hate the billionaire owners but I've seen MLB put out continued revisions conceding more each time to the players and the PA response is the same each time.

"This is an insulting non-starter".

MLBPA doesn't look particularly reasonable as a negotiating party.

I just don’t believe this is a situation where anyone will really empathize with the players.

Yes, the owners suck, but multi-millionaires whining about not getting paid enough is far more of a turnoff.

There is already a salary cap. The owners won't pay so much that they don't make money.

I lol'ed at "middle class" - yeah there's a middle between a rookie minimum & a Juan Soto contract, but there's nothing "middle class" & nothing worth having sympathy over when a guy's making a paltry 5-7M per season.

The MLBPA has put me firmly with the billionaires on this.

The product and the fan interest will be better when the Pirates can keep their young stars just as easily as the Steelers can. That's the bottom line. It's not about wins and losses, it's about fan interest being high for all 30 teams.

Yes. Ultimately, I don’t really give a shite where the money I spent on tickets, overpriced beer and a TV package goes. I just want the best product and I think that’s on the side of the owners this time
