#Phillies and #Indians have discussed a possible Trevor Bauer trade, sources say, as I reported on @MLBNetwork this morning. @MLB
would be huge, but what does Philadelphia have after JT trade among others

I think it’s pretty unforgivable they’re considering selling in the position they’re in

I'd assume if they sell they would be looking for people who are MLB ready. Maybe take Franco, Williams, and higher end prospects?

Their owner just stopped short of saying they won't pay Lindor when it's his time.

Great trust their fans should have in the team leadership there

I feel sorry for the Indians, the fans supported them throughout the 90's and yet they've ranked near the bottom of attendance since 2002. They've been good for most of those seasons and legit WS contenders the past 4 years

And their window is still fairly open with the division being weak.

Now would be the time before the Sox get it together and the royals rebuild

Lindor, Ramirez, Bauer, Hand all still really young, if they were willing to pay their own players and continue to develop others they could have a long window

Pretty much a consensus throughout the industry that Lindor won't be there a day after he hits FA so I get trying to add controllable assets using Bauer. Very delicate balance though obviously.

NL Central will come down to whoever gets a top of rotation start and bullpen help out of stl and chitown.

Brewers need 3 starters at the least, and with no waiver wire deals, they will have to over pay for everything, even mediocre starters. They will be stuck trying to out hit everyone and will struggle down the stretch.

I would be shocked if Texas gets a PTBNL back for Mike Minor.

Cash considerations is my realistic return.

Dolan can't afford Bauer's arbitration raise next year. Of course The Indians are trading. The last thing Dolan wants is a group of expensive productive veterans. Youth under control is cheap.

Same thing every year and they wonder why the stadium is half empty until the trade deadline passes.

Indians are the Yankees fricking farm system.

Brewers really should sell and focus on next year... They have no healthy pitchers

I’d be pissed as a brewers fan. For 3 seasons their need was starting pitching and the move they made was to let arguably their best starter in Miley walk
