Deals:

The Rockies and Dodgers lined up on an intra-division trade that’ll see hard-throwing righty Seth Halvorsen go from Colorado to L.A. in exchange for minor league righty Nick Frasso and minor league outfielder Landyn Vidourek.

Please baby Jesus don't let the Astros buy and make them sell sell sell everyone but Yordan.

Really curious how this deadline goes considering MLB is headed to a lock out

Rockies look to be selling everyone.
Rumors about them and the Red Sox discussing a deal for Hunter Goodman swirling around too.

I thought for sure we’d revisit the offseason trade talks over Paredes, but Durbin is suddenly playing way above league average and Duran, who the Astros allegedly wanted, is playing well below.

think its more likely the muddied WC waters makes this a pretty strong sellers market
as in if teams want to make a big move they are going to need to significantly overpay unless the tigers fall off a cliff this week or soemthing

I don't see the Tigers, Twins, Red Sox, or Jays selling
I honestly feel Mets, Angels, Rockies, KC, and the Giants are the only real sellers. Wild Card has muddied the market with too many teams still in contention

Tigers
They will for sure unload Skubal

We will see more and more player for player deals instead of your usual package of prospects for player type deadline trades. It’s hard to predict what those will be but teams will line up on them and make it happen.

Tigers are 6.5 of the central and 4.5 of the Wild Card. They have one of the best records since June 1st. They also play on of the easiest schedules through the beginning of August

Ready for my Braves to not do anything at deadline and lose in first round of playoffs again

I want my Rangers to get Luis Arraez pretty badly. He’s been rumored to the Rangers for over a month. I’d give up anyone in the farm minus Walcott for him. Rangers need a more consistent lineup piece to win the AL West. Pederson, Langford, and Burger can only do so much. Rangers have to make a move for Arraez and push for the playoffs. .330 hitter, good defensively, he never strikes out, and hitting more extra base hits this year.

Angels making Zach Neto available, Astros have Pena and Correa, Pirates making Cruz available, Reds have Steer.... Ton of players rumored that would be huge deals besides Skubal/CJ.
Trout should waive his no trade and go to Philadelphia for Painter+

Correa is out for the season hasn’t played since early May. He also has a full no trade clause

I know of a team in Atlanta who would gladly take Hunter Brown off your hands

I
I love these delusional trades. “My team gets the best player available for one decent player and some junk”
