We are on the cusp of September baseball.

At some point some franchises will flat out become unsustainable and will end up having to fold, if this ends up being successful.

We will likely end up with no more than 16 viable franchises and that may be a high #. Oakland can repurpose their old stadium into a possum refuge (they already run amok there), and St. Pete can have the world's largest fresh water tank.

Jesse Chavez released by the Angels. The Braves would be smart to resign him if he was interested.

Motherfricker. Every time I go run errands, he homers. When I stay home, he doesn't.

MadBum is on his way to giving up 5+ runs in 6 straight starts. When do they quit sending him out there?

I’ll bite

Mad Bum was historically good over multiple post seasons… not just one random October.

Contract he was given was terrible though.

When they have someone better in the minors to take his spot. Apparently, they don't.

And the fricking Phillies can kiss my arse. Had them -1.5 and the over. Up 7-0 in the 4th and their pitcher hasn't allowed a hit. What could possibly go wrong?

A pair or goddammed 6 run innings for Arizona in the 4th and 5th is what could go wrong

Judge gets #50. All Rise! He did something Bonds didn’t do. That’s have 50 homers in multiple seasons. 70 is still on the table.

More than 2,100 U.S. citizenship candidates gathered at Dodger Stadium this morning for a naturalization ceremony on the field. As part of the ceremony, Fernando Valenzuela received an Outstanding Americans by Choice recognition.

Not sure if that's Fernando's daughter in the pink or DIL....or girlfriend.
