Per @ESPNStatsInfo no team has ever blown a lead of more than 13 games in its division or league (before 1969). The largest was by the Dodgers in 1951. Brooklyn led the NL by 13 games on Aug. 11 only to see the Giants rally and win the pennant on Bobby Thomson's walk-off HR.

Rays (90 million payroll ) now 4 back in loss column after being 14 back

Tony LaRussa has been relief as the manager 5 days or so ago. Since then, White Sox been winning. G.M. should have done that when the team fell out of first place. It wouldn't have been this bad and may have been able to regain first place by now or be a lot closer to the first-place team.

That’s another for Judge. In a week or so, we will all bow to the new Homerun King! ??

Judge is 5 for his last 6, including a double and two homers. Judge IS the New York Yankees. I'm surprised that he does not pitch. He now is up to 319 (!) total bases. He is 12 total bases in his last six at-bats; that's good for a 2.8333 OPS. He has a 1.076 OPS right now. In less than three games in September, he is 5-12 with two homers, a double, and two walks. Thats good for a 1.500 OPS. Damn.
