Dodgers rest most of their bull pen and use a couple of guys I didn't know were on the team....both called up today, Heath Hembree and Jake Reed, who the Mets released earlier this year, to beat the Mets 4-3

70 bombs still in play. Angels pitching is trash, but you’re gonna see more mediocre to bad pitching, which means more homers for Judge. He’s gonna get 570-580 at bats (he’s at 466 now - Bonds had 476 when he hit his 73).

Phillies score 7 straight against the Diamondbacks. They have since given up 22 unanswered runs (13 last night and 9 tonight) .

Aaron Judge hit his 51st HR of the season last night.

He now has a 20-HR lead over Yordan Alvarez for the most in the AL. This is the largest HR lead at the end of any day in the American League since Sept. 30, 1956 when Mickey Mantle (52) had a 20-HR lead over Vic Wertz (32).

McClanahan should be back in two weeks. Best news possible. Hopefully, Rays will be able to hold onto a wildcard spot.

I kept saying back in June Arenado wasn't going to hit .250 for the rest of his career.

Flaherty struck out 9. He's supposed to return on the 5th.
