He's an idiot. His IBB to Marte tonight is one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen a manager make.
The Rangers are imploding. They aren't going to the playoffs. As a Ranger fan we will thankfully be spared the inevitable playoff collapse we all know is coming.

Yes it's been ugly the last week or so but this happens in a 162 game season. Terrible time for it to occur nonetheless.

Soooo... the Rangers 2.5 games up on the Blue Jays who are on the outside looking in of the Wild Card race right now.

The Royals are down to 2 plans for their next stadium. One is downtown close to the T Mobile Center. But it's a smaller plot of land. But would be easier to negotiate with Jackson County to get out of Kaufman Stadium early. Which the lease runs through 2031. One potential downfall of this spot is parking could be a problem. The team wants to open whatever they build in 2028. And will spend $1B to build it. This is the only rendering so far.
The other spot is in north part of town in Clay County. So it would be trickier to negotiate to get out of the lease with Jackson County. But it sits on a much bigger plot of land for the entertainment district they want with residential and commercial properties they will control. This is what it would look like for now.
