When you thinking we’ll see De La Cruz? Thought I heard we lose a year of him if we call him up before All Star Break?

Over/Under on when Judge takes the HR lead: 10 days? Manoah is manure tonight. I mean, Calhoun took him deep. Throwing a FB to Judge is idiotic at best, unless you can throw 98+. The slider works, so let's throw a FB. Good news is that they're paid for their arms and not their brains.
ETA - Manure continued to let 13 batters reach out of 23. Dude was great last year, but is not even AA quality. Too bad Judge didn't get him again in the 5th.

Judge DESTROYS a hanging slider and has his third multi-homerun game and has reached base in all five plate appearances. Elite indeed. He could take the HR lead by Thursday.

Bottom of the 2nd in San Diego, 3-0 Padres with one out and the bases loaded. Brad Keller has walked four and hit Manny Machado with a pitch with the bases loaded in an inning and a third. The Royals minor league system would probably be better at developing unicorns than they are at developing pitchers.

Yeah, that sevice time stuff is tricky. If that's the case I don't think he comes up until that point. No need to rush him. It's not like we need him for a playoff push. However, if he's good enough to be up he needs to be called up.

Brandon Williamson made his MLB debut on the mound for Reds tonight. We get the win 3-1 over the Rockies. He looked rattled his first inning but once he settled in his stuff was good.
Matt McClain made his debut yesterday as well. These two, along with Andrew Abbott and Elly De La Cruz are part of the youth movement the Reds are pushing in our rebuild. Those two should be called up relatively soon. Good to see the Reds starting to turn into competitors.
