Right-handed reliever J.P. Feyereisen is headed to the Los Angeles Dodgers in a trade, sources tell ESPN. Heading back to the Tampa Bay Rays is a minor league pitcher.

Rays DFA'd Feyereisen to make room for Zach Eflin. An injury is expected to keep Feyereisen out most of 2023.

So is he playing SS next season with Crawford moving or is he playing 3B until Crawford retires?

Supposedly, Crawford will move to third base.

In return, the Dodgers are sending the Rays minor-league pitcher Jeff Belge.
Belge is an interesting prospect. Big kid; 6'5. LHP, Throws a mid-90's FB and a slider. Strictly a reliever. Struck out 5 batters in a row in a game this year. But he just turned 25 and is still pitching at A+. I could see him making the big leagues in a couple of years as a LH specialist

Must have control issues, otherwise he wouldn't be a PTBNL

He does. 15.3 BB%. Plus he's 25 and has never pitched above high A ball. I've seen him on video and he looks dorky; unathletic. But he's a LHP and he throws hard, so I still think he makes it to the bigs as a LH specialist

Every team on this list can say that have a better team going into next season that what they ended with last season. Granted, some will have overspent for their improvements they end up achieving, but they all got better.

With exception of the Yankees.

I for one am proud of the teams like the Dodgers, As, and Reds who are committed to doing things the right way without trying to "buy" a championship. Unlike teams like the Giants, Mets, and Astros

Rodon holding strong on 7 years 30 millions. Yankees apparently offered 5 with a player option and mutual option.

Swanson will get 200 million at this rate.
